Since first bracing the stages of Ottawa in 2006, the Canadian singer-songwriter has released two bilingual CDs (an EP in 2010 and full-length album in 2012), has played to audiences across Canada and around the world.
From finger-picked folky ballads to rollicking, bluesy melodies, Kristine's style has been described as both fresh and raw. Her voice combined with her beautifully crafted songs are increasingly gaining her attention on the Canadian music scene.
Her latest feats include opening for Emm Gryner in Stratford, Ontario, embarking on a cross-Canada tour and playing on board the Via Rail.
On stage, Kristine’s songs take on another life with her powerful voice, charming personality and unforgiving smile.
Kristine has also shared the stage with artists including Three Little Birds, Mighty Popo, Brea Lawrenson, John Allaire, Shannon Rose, Jill Zmud, Amanda Bon, Lynn Hanson, Tara Holloway, Al G Wood, Yao, Vaero, Mastik, Francis Faubert, and many many more.
She has honed her craft under the guidance of Blair Packham, Bill McKetrick, Katherine Wheatley, James Gordon, Louise Beaudoin, Alan Côté and Robert Walsh.
Since 2011, Kristine has been a member of the country-alt Ottawa band Old Whiskey Road (www.oldwhiskeyroad.com).
